Rund 700 gefährdete Tier- und Pflanzenarten finden in dem zweitgrößten und artenreichsten Naturschutzgebiet Nordrhein-Westfalens, das zwischen Köln, Rösrath und Troisdorf gelegen ist, eines ihrer letzten Rückzugsgebiete.
